Game of Thrones: Season 7

| SEASON VERDICT | 

Say what you want about the screwed up timelines or the incestious affairs or even the perplexing Winterfell subplot, but Game of Thrones' penultimate season will go down as one of the most epic and strongest seasons with some of the best episodes and sequences of the entire series. 

I mean, from Arya killing the Freys to Olenna Tyrell's badassery to the Westeros' Suicide Squad down to the satisfying demise of Littlefinger, Jon Snow bending the knee twice for Daenerys, and the outstanding Loot Train Battle, this season was everything a fan would want and more. Was it just pure fanservice? I don't know and I don't care. 

The visuals have been - from top to bottom - breathtaking, the writing for the most part was masterful, and the tension, especially in the last episode, was palpable. Hands down, one of the greatest TV shows ever created.

Jon organizes the defense of the North. Cersei tries to even the odds. Daenerys comes home.

Episode 2: Stromborn
Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor. Jon faces a revolt. Tyrion plans the conquest of Westeros.

Episode 3: The Queen's Justice
Daenerys holds court. Cersei returns a gift. Jaime learns from his mistakes.

Episode 4: The Spoils of War
Daenerys fights back. Jaime faces an unexpected situation. Arya comes home.

Episode 5: Eastwatch
Daenerys demands loyalty from the surviving Lannister soldiers. Jon heeds Bran's warning about White Walkers on the move. Cersei vows to vanquish anyone or anything that stands in her way.

Episode 6: Beyond the Wall

Jon and his team go beyond the wall to capture a wight. Daenerys has to make a tough decision.

Episode 7: The Dragon and the Wolf
A meeting is held in King's Landing. Problems arise in the North.
