Movie Review: This Means War

The film had a completely ludicrous plot, but it never took itself too seriously and that somehow made it far more refreshing compared to it's contemporaries. The acting performances were surprisingly relaxed and I thought the chemistry between Chris Pine and Tom Hardy was shockingly palpable. Reese Witherspoon, to me, seemed youthful and relevant, but it was the hysterical Chelsea Handler who completely stole the show. This Means War wasn't a monumental achievement in terms of movie making, but if you're looking for a film to keep you entertained - just don't expect anything clever or life changing - then this will do the job.
