Music Release: Lorde - Perfect Places "gives us an infectious hit."

June 16 can't come any closer if the first three singles from Lorde would be an indication of what to expect from her new album, then we could be in for a really good one.

Perfect Places will serve as the closer of the album and currently will be Lorde's third single release for the year. If Green Light is a banger while Liability speaks emotions, Perfect Places gives us a beat induced infectious hit. While the single reminds us more like her song, Team, it actually voices a more in dept look of its core theme. And it speaks volumes of how Lorde is as a song writer as well.

The track isn't afraid and that is what it promises to do. It feels like the perfect conversation starter and as the single cuts through its subtle deptness that deepens an after 2am realization. Backed up with an upbeat rhythm, Perfect Places doesn't feel hard or sad. It allows us to take every bit of its beat driven quality backed up with Lorde's almost whispery tone yet recognizable tone. Sure, this isn't revolutionary and it could easily be mistaken as an Alessia Cara's song. 

If Perfect Places will be Melodrama's closer, then the audience will be left with a decent satisfaction.
