If you have seen how many times Hailee was asked to sing Flashlight in Pitch Perfect 2, one would agree that it was a wasted use of her talent and an annoying showcase of her potential. Luckily, the singer-actress was able to carve herself afterwards with hits like Starving and Most Girls, and now she released a collaboration that one would not expect at all -- yet it worked.

A DJ + a Pop Artist + Country stars = a pop tune. Let Me Go, a collaboration between the three artists, is something unexpected but then it actually leads up to a ridiculously infectious pop banger. The single starts with Hailee with her gorgeous voice backed up by an electro-pop production until it reaches a chorus that is undeniably catchy. The verses from Florida Georgia Line is also a nice touch. As the single progresses, it feels more like a Hailee single, but I digress. It is an upbeat, musical ear worm that feels easy and light.
