It’s NEVER easy upgrading a Beyoncé song, but the dexterity of both of their vocal instruments with which they handled the fantastic dynamics and tempo of the song was pretty damn impressive. Sure, there were moments where Victoria's voice scratched and strained in ways that Vera’s didn’t, which was picked up by some of the jury, but she managed to recover and held her own against the formidable Vera, which had some of the most riveting phrasing choices for this particular song.
