A more mellow, mature take on urban-pop ballad, ZAYN finds himself singing innuendos and making love on his brand new single, Let Me.
But did the former One Direction member find his stride with this new single? ZAYN seems to still be on his road to replicate the success of PILLOWTALK and to find the right formula would be rough. While Let Me possesses a radio friendly quality, it doesn't leave a lasting impression. However, it showcases ZAYN natural vocal quality with those decadent falsettos to the smooth vibratos, he was able to turn dynamics into a sexy tune.
In the end, Let Me is a decent single but it is not as tight and solid as his biggest and first hit. Now I'm wondering, is he just a one-hit wonder? only time will tell.
