Candice Boyd's tone on I'm Going Down was so clear and bright it almost seemed like it came from a spring at the top of some pristine mountain range, and yet she also displayed a nifty rhythmic sensibility, musical identity, and a terrifyingly strong instrument, which surely made her one of the standouts this year. Eight (8) panelists showed their support ranking her in their Top 10. Not too shabby for a runner-up of the inaugural season of The Four.
