On a technical merit alone, Emanuel Bagge showcased a range that stretches perhaps even further than any popstar's healthy ego. True, some jury did question if he needed to swing quite so hard on his glory note towards the end, but who could resist a death blow to make a lasting impression? The arrangement wonderfully highlighted the excruciating beauty of the lyrics and there was a crisp cleanliness to his delivery that left seven (7) panelists quite impressed that they included this as one of their Top 10 performances of the year.
