Movie Review: Avengers: Infinity War
Sure, Avengers: Infinity War wasn't the greatest film ever made, but it was still quite remarkable considering how many larger than life characters there were in this film. The narrative was understandably simple yet consistently riveting that I was exhausted as soon as the credits started rolling as it exceedingly made the stakes felt higher and almost palpable. The transitions and flow were a bit clunky and uneven, but again, given the daunting task of having all these characters, it was handled quite well.
The action and battle sequences were excellent as it felt sharper, well choreographed, and robust and it blended in perfectly with some impeccably placed humor. It was, for the most part, exceptionally shot , faultlessly rendered, and carefully photographed that the visuals came off a little more visceral, dynamic, and grander.
Some complained about this particular film lacking a certain degree of character development, but they have implemented their "universe" with careful planning and precision for the past ten (10) years that at this point, there's no need to develop further the characters as they're pretty much developed from their previous films.
Avengers: Infinity War was a monumental achievement for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While this felt like one huge build up for the next Avengers film, which I expect to be absolutely explosive in all sense of the word - literally and the revelatory kind - this was again, flat out spectacular. No sh*t.
