Yanga Sobetwa was an glorious vocalist and Scars as her winning original song on Idols South Africa further cemented her win. It was hard not feel that magnetism during her performance. She had so many interesting textures in her tone and an innate ability to veer from ragged to silky without it feeling in any way jarring. There's intensity in her delivery and some much needed emotional connection.
