I saw this collaboration coming, but not this soon. 

Amidst all the media frenzy and controversial headlines that could easily allude with this track, there is something more than what Feels is offering. Calvin Harris has been known as one of the most successful songwriter, producer and EDM artist and most of his past singles were fan favorites, but his collaborations are the ones that are usually a hit.

With his new album coming out soon, Calvin is slowly releasing singles with high profile collaborations. His current hit Slide is still making waves on the radio and charts and now he is getting ready to have yet another potential Summer hit.

Breaking down, Feels asset starts with its funky vibe. From the get go, it has that summer funky vibe that is not overwhelming. Pharrell Williams provides smooth vocals, while Katy Perry assists on that catchy chorus and Big Sean adding dynamics with a verse. Feels has the right mix of funk, pop, summer kissed and radio friendly tune that is accessible and warm.

Feels is stylishly nostalgic from the mid-70s era. The tune wins from its melange production to the warmth it adds after listening to it that is quite a welcoming difference from what we're used to hearing from a Calvin Harris produced single. Good stuff!
