Three Years after her release for her sophomore album, Fergie is releasing two follow-up single and a release date for her long overdue new album. One is Hungry, a collaboration with Rick Ross and the second one and the more radio friendly is a collaboration with Nicki Minaj entitled You Already Know.

You Already Know is the more accessible single from Fergie, since Big Girls Don't Cry 10 years ago. The Black-Eyed Peas member and vocalist invited Nicki Minaj as featured on this single that somehow added color for the track.

You Already Know is an uptempo pop tune that features spit-fire lyrics here and there and a simple production of mostly synth and percussions. Fergie sings in a more subdued vocals without being really quiet but it is a welcoming surprise. The chorus which is the strongest point of the song is catchy and definitely infectious. While Nicki Minaj is a solid addition, her year in a nutshell is mostly high profile features that her body of work in this single could be overlooked as something generic and same and a sense of overexposure from the rapper, not to mention, her releasing her much awaited new album is also on the horizon.

Nonetheless, You Already Know is a decent comeback after 3 years range of release and is a good  reminder that Fergie still has it especially with a terrible showing of her past releases (MILF$, Life Goes On and L.A Love). It could've been better in terms of production and vocals but I digress.
