P!nk released her new single from her up and coming album and it is not afraid to ask questions that certainly need answers.
The anthemic pop tune is a progressing single. What About Us starts with a piano as the empowering ballad takes off in terms of verses, questions and production. P!nk's undeniable vocals soars as she keeps the single in a progressive state.
What About Us is lyrically generic especially as it involves a statement theme, albeit still punches you to the gut. The sense of P!nk's believable delivery and bemoaning power chorus that P!nk confidently sings is a treat though and not to mention its catchy rhythm gets stuck in your head.
In the end, What About Us is nothing really new for what is expected from P!nk in terms of single but it still manages to keep you embracing it. Decent, safe yet it works.
