The second single released from her up and coming studio album of the same title is a power ballad but not entirely relying on gloomy vocals and slow production. Demi's yearning vocals with sense of regret and longing exposes the emotions needed by the single.

If Sorry Not Sorry is a banger about not giving a F#!@, Tell Me You Love Me sounds more personal and vulnerable. The heavy bass & percussion production single is backdropped with electronic handclaps and Demi's vocals being front and center.

While we heard Demi on tunes like Stone Cold or Skyscraper where she gave power vocals, in this tune especially the third half of the single, Demi soars with so much maturity, subtlety and right amount of emotions without sounding like she is trying to impress somebody. There is build up and dynamics that works wonders on this.

Tell Me You Love Me is a solid single from Demi Lovato that no one should sleep on. It is relatable, emotional and all in all, an absolute good song.
