Music Release: Louis Tomlinson - Just Like You "is too generic."
Louis hasn't found luck with his series of single releases and he is performing below expectations. But that doesn't stop him from releasing music and Just Like You is poised to be not just a fan-single but his next single period.
Just Like You wants us to know that he is just like us. The single which is layered with synths and an auto tune production seems to be a personal work from the One Direction member. It wants to be relatable and accessible. The single is simple and even the production is nothing grande and spectacular. To be fair, he sounded solid on the track.
Where the single fails, it doesn't add to an exciting discography that Louis should be developing nor makes you look forward on what he got for the market. It sounded too generic. It seems like Louis is still looking on his niche and he better do it fast or else he will be left at the end.
