It is not a lie to say that the well loved songs of today are spiced island-themed, Caribbean styled and inspired by up-tempo feel good production and Iggy Azalea's new single and possibly her buzz track tune for her up and coming album unsurprisingly succumbs to current music trends.
Savior which features Quavo (he's been everywhere, ha) sees the usual rapstress from Australia give those spitfire lyrics some life but while the previous tunes from her is more bombastic in terms of production and beat, this is a bit tamed but more rhythmic. Not to mention, auto-tuned guy Quavo is more inspired here and the single had a more smooth, radio friendly feel that I didn't expect could work.
Savior is a welcome change from Iggy and it allows her to show versatility but not too much that she still maintains that stamp she was known for.
