With a full, rich, and raspy tone, there was a scintillating promise in Kelsea's slow-burn, exquisitely timed and phrased take on this Andra Day ballad. She showcased a certain degree of passion and intensity and an ability to resist sacrificing vocal control on the altar of over singing. Despite the extremely mixed rankings of the jury with the performance - it garnered one of the highest standard deviations of the year - some of the panel still was impressed as it entered Top 10 in ten (10) jury lists this year.
