This was a strikingly stripped down rendering of a Britney Spears' classic that Addison brilliantly infused with warmth and unexpected gloom all at the same time. The opening verse gave way to a raw and plaintive authenticity as she dug deeper into the song with her almost lilting tone that cuts through. With two jury voting this performance as their absolute best of the year and five (5) more within their Top 5, this was quite a stellar showing for The Voice US (Fall) runner-up.
