Alicja's smoky, supple tone shines brightest when it's paired with songs that require a certain amount of soul and Wicked Game was that absolute perfect fit to her voice. Her daring approach to the song where she took bigger chances with the melody and executed some interesting vocal choices especially for a relatively overdone song was interesting. The impression was so strong that one of the jury member even ranked this performance as their best of the year.
