Finesse, as part of the 24k Magic album tracks, is on its own a solid single. From the funky beat and infectious hook, Bruno Mars never fails to deliver an uptempo, dance beat that you could dance along. But there is something about the Cardi B remix that elevates the single to gold.

Finesse (Remix) didn't go way too far in terms of this version. Aside from Cardi B's impeccable rap verse and lovely runs here and there, the remix stays solid to its lane. It maintains the retro beat. It was slick. It is catchy and memorable.

As a whole, the remix version of Finesse is quite a winning effort. It goes to an extent that is charming and you yearning for more, but at the end of it, you just gets satisfied and settles on just playing the repeat button.
